Modern Warfare Announced New DLC Map Pack

Back in March Activision and Infinity Ward released the first map pack for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 called the "Stimulus Package" (despite their battles in court). The map pack included five new maps. two of which were old COD maps being re-released. The addition was 1200 Microsoft Points....or $15. Needless to say, for five maps 15 bucks is a complete rip off (WHY anyone would pay this much for this little new material is insane). Well this week we learned of the new COD map pack being released. "Resurgence" pack will have, you guessed it 5 total maps (2 old and 3 new). Activision clearly doesn't give a DAMN about charging another $15 for the add-on because the first map pack was download 2.5 million times! Call me stingy, cheap or whatever other adjective you can think of but I refuse to pay $30 for 6 new maps and 4 old ones.

My opinions aside, Activision can expect to make more money for half-ass effort. The Resurgence pack is set to go on sale June 3rd on the Xbox Live Marketplace. While the PS3 will have it's details revealed at a later date. Stay tuned for more information
