In Defense Of Gamers: Workout Of The Week

I am so fucking sick and tired of watching numerous news channels bash gaming and how it causes children to become obese. I know you guys know what I'm talking about. You turn your TV to the news and see some fake ass reporter talking about how video games are bad for kids. Mmm lets think, parents use your heads. Your child can play all the video games they want, just make sure they exercise too. You don't take away video games all together. Or how about you monitor what your kids eat. Make sure they get a balanced diet. Don't take away the greatest form of entertainment out there.

You know why video games get so much shit from the media? Because they are a scape goat for society. We always point the finger at someone or something else, when really it's your damn fault your kids are overweight. Video games are an easy target, so people exploit them. It makes me furious to see web sights like this one . It's a site that's slogan is "Have fun playing video games while losing weight." Is this a joke? We don't play video games to lose weight. Besides all the desperate lazy dumb asses who paid $80 for Wii Fit (JUST GO TO THE GYM). We play them to enter other worlds and completely immerse us in a extravagant experience. If you want to lose weight purchase a gym membership for $19.99 a month and go run and lift weights.

All I'm saying is video games aren't the cause of obesity, people are. If you eat a healthy balanced diet and workout daily, then you'll be in good shape with or without video games in your life. So all my game nerds out there pick up your controllers and keep playing. In defense of my fellow gamers, here is the Workout Of The Week. Keep gaming people, and fuck what people say about video games. But if you wanna get in shape here's a workout that'll help tone up your arms.

Bicep/Tricep Workout

Do each exercise in order. 4 sets each followed by the reps in each set. Use whatever weight is right for you. Heavier weight and low reps creates bulk muscle, while light weight and high reps creates lean muscle.

Overhead Dumbbell - 4 sets - 8 - 7 - 6 - 5
Barbell Curl - 4 sets - 6 - 6 - 5 - 4
Skull Crushers - 4 sets - 8 - 7 - 6 - 5
Concentrated Curls - 4 sets - 6 - 5 - 5 - 4
Dips - 4 sets - 15 - 14 - 13 - 12
Hammer Curls - 4 sets - 8 - 7 - 6 - 5
Tricep Kickback - 4 sets - 8 - 8 - 7 - 6
Pull Ups - 4 sets - as much as you can do
